Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support an inpatient unit under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will provide direct and indirect age-appropriate patient care, follow policies, and contribute to high patient and family satisfaction through professional, courteous service.

The ideal candidate has completed a CNA or MA program (or Nursing Fundamentals) and may have at least six months of nursing aide experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved CNA program or MA program, or Nursing Fundamentals required.
• Minimum six months nursing assistant or MA experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Follow policies, procedures, and guidelines in all duties.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Contribute to high patient and family satisfaction and service excellence.
• Demonstrate professionalism in dress, behavior and interaction.
