Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of acute care experience in a medical-surgical or inpatient setting.
• IRR or annual competency testing in Utilization Review.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year of experience in care management or utilization review or completion of TIPS/ Case Management Orientation Program.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and planning for at-risk patients in an acute care setting.
• Coordination of care and resource utilization management and/or review.
• Discharge planning and documentation of interventions.
• Regulatory compliance and patient advocacy.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing

Alaska RN License

BSN or higher
