Job summary

Healthcare United is seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant for a full-time role in the Greater Somerset area of Massachusetts. You will join a hospital-based inpatient cardiology team under Cardiologist supervision, handling consultations, rounding, and follow-up care.

The position offers training in Cardiac Stress Test supervision, with collaboration among Hospitalists and Primary Care Providers. Proficiency in eClinicalWorks and Epic is required.

Qualifications

• Valid DEA certificate and Massachusetts controlled substances registration.
• Familiarity with Cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and medications.
• Experience with Cardiac Catheterization patients preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work within a specialty team and hospital system.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient cardiology consultations, rounding, and follow-up care under Cardiologist supervision.
• Care for Interventional Cardiology patients before and after procedures.
• Training in Cardiac Stress Test supervision can be arranged.
• Coordinate follow-up care with Hospitalists and Primary Care Providers.
• This position does not participate in acute STEMI emergency team and does not scrub in Cath Lab.
