Job summary

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiology Hospitalist to join a collaborative cardiovascular team. This role focuses on inpatient cardiology in a well-established program with access to advanced technology and a strong referral network.

The position involves managing inpatient cardiology services, performing consultations, rounding on patients, and coordinating care with interventional cardiology and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in cardiovascular disease.
• TEE training required (echocardiography).
• Excellent communication and teamwork with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient cardiology services in collaboration with APPs.
• Perform inpatient consultations.
• Round on hospitalized cardiology patients.
• Coordinate care with interventional cardiologists, surgeons, intensivists and other specialists.
• Contribute to quality improvement and education initiatives.
