Job summary

FirstHealth Physician Group is seeking an Inpatient Only Cardiologist to join our team in Pinehurst, NC. The role offers a balance of work and life with a 7 on/7 off schedule. Candidates will provide high-acuity inpatient cardiac care within a collegial group at the Reid Heart Center.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship programs.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease required.
• Must be licensed or eligible for unrestricted licensure in NC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity inpatient cardiac care.
• Perform rounding, consults, follow-ups, and interpretations.
• Work closely with Imaging Cardiologist and other specialists.

Skills

ACLS certification

Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease

Strong teamwork abilities

Excellent communication skills

Education

Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship programs
