Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an inpatient Registered Nurse to join our team in Virginia. This role offers a signing incentive up to $26,000 for eligible candidates and a minimum hiring rate of $41.41 per hour, with enhanced rates for experienced nurses and up to $7 in shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, plan and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, administer treatments and medications, educate patients and families, and

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in inpatient medical-surgical settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides plan of care with patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Delivers direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to address patient needs.
