Qualifications

• Minimum: One-year acute care experience in an accredited acute care facility with cardiovascular emphasis.
• Desired: Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing or related field; Cardiac Rehab, Critical Care leadership or management experience; Experience in a Cardiovascular Liaison role.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on cardiac diagnoses, treatments and lifestyle factors.
• Coordinate with the CV Liaison and interdisciplinary team to plan and monitor care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients and families to promote outcomes.
