Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinician (LCSW) to join an interdisciplinary team on an inpatient unit. You will assess, intervene and plan aftercare for patients, collaborating with families, insurers and community supports.

You will document promptly and contribute to treatment planning, discharge coordination and patient advocacy, with a focus on safety and continuity of care. EPIC experience preferred and strong communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or doctorate in social work required
• Current valid Massachusetts LCSW license
• At least one year of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides psychosocial assessment within department guidelines
• Identifies patient strengths and aftercare needs for discharge planning
• Attends treatment team meetings and contributes to Master Treatment Plan
• Leads family and network meetings as needed
• Coordinates aftercare referrals and schedules aftercare appointments
• Maintains documentation in the electronic medical record
• Advocates for patients and ensures rights, safety and dignity
