Job summary

Fairview Range in Hibbing, MN seeks a Mental Health Practitioner for the inpatient Behavioral Health Department. You will maintain a safe therapeutic milieu under supervision and provide group and individual therapy to patients on the acute unit.

Responsibilities include assessing and implementing therapy programs, recording patient data, and collaborating with nurses and the treatment team to deliver effective care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Includes BCS certification or eligibility within 90 days.
• BLS/CPR certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and individual therapy to patients on the acute unit.
• Assess and implement therapy programs using current evidence-based practices.
• Collect, record, and maintain patient data.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and treatment team to optimize care.
• Assist in keeping supplies and equipment organized and functioning.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and critical-thinking in daily care.
• Establish strong relationships with health care team members.
• Work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
