Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Dallas is hosting a Hiring Event on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are seeking Full-Time Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) for Day and Night Shifts, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year direct behavioral health care experience
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or another behavioral health‑related field with mental health experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with behavioral health experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supervision throughout the shift.
• Monitor patient behaviors and obtain vital signs.
• Complete routine safety rounds and accurate documentation.
• Assist with admissions, patient orientation, and discharge activities.
• Support patients with daily living activities while promoting independence and healthy coping skills.
• Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques during behavioral crises.
• Escort patients to groups, appointments, and treatment activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Communicate patient concerns and behavioral changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide outstanding patient care.
