Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking a Mental Health Technician II to support inpatient behavioral health treatment. You will contribute to a safe, structured environment, assist with therapeutic activities, and help de-escalate situations under supervision.

This role emphasizes compassionate patient care and teamwork across shifts. The position offers 7:00am-4:00pm hours, weekend/holiday pay options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Level II requires one year of behavioral health patient care experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 25 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Participate in de-escalation strategies to maintain safety.
• Serve as a role model and facilitate therapeutic activities and wellness.
• Cover unit floors as needed and support on Medical Support/Lab duties.
