Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Psychiatric Technician for the inpatient dual diagnosis unit at Manchester Memorial Hospital. The role focuses on a safe, structured milieu for adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions.

Under the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will support therapy groups, model coping skills, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to document care and assist with ADLs. Located in Manchester, CT, with competitive benefits.

Qualificações

• A minimum of a high school degree or GED equivalent is required.
• Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
• Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and de-escalation techniques or obtain during orientation and maintain competency.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic milieu with age-specific behavioral management.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups for patients.
• Plan, implement and facilitate skill-training and thematic groups, modeling essential skills.
• Document and communicate pertinent information to the treatment team as a member of the interdisciplinary group.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, and dressing.
