Job summary

UCHealth CeDAR Residential Care in Aurora, CO seeks a Behavioral Health Aide to support a safe, therapeutic milieu under RN supervision in inpatient, ED or ambulatory settings. Duties include monitoring patient coping, providing crisis intervention, and collaborating with the care team to carry out the plan of care.

This onsite, full-time position offers a structured career ladder and compensation commensurate with experience, with pay between $20.87 and $27.13 per hour. Shift: Days.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of related Behavioral Health experience.
• BLS certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Monitor and document coping mechanisms; provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and carry out the plan of care.
• Follow instructions and guidelines; work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
