Job summary

Trumed is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit on a weekend alternative schedule (Sat/Sun) at UH Lakewood Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. This part-time role provides 24 hours per week, with shifts 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

You’ll assess, plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and mentoring students. Compliance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
