Job summary

Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, MO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit on the night shift. You will assess patients, plan and evaluate nursing care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The role includes supervising students, participating in committees and program evaluations, and maintaining compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Missouri RN license required.
Current BCLS certification.
PRN applicants must have at least one year of medical/surgical experience or one year of specialty area experience.

Responsibilities

Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Supervise and mentor students.
Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all regulatory requirements.
