You will work day or night shifts, 72 hours biweekly, with emphasis on crisis intervention, teamwork and evidence-based care. Strong clinical skills and emotional resilience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year hospital experience.
• Maryland RN license; multi-state compact considerations per MD Board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration.
• Assess mental, emotional, and physical health needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists on treatment plans.
• Use de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques.
• Document interctions and progress in electronic health records.
• Participate in shift hand-offs and team meetings.
• Support safety and patient advocacy in a high-acuity setting.
