Job summary

Haven Behavioral Healthcare, part of Oceans Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead milieu management and direct nursing care. The RN will provide safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and patient-focused interventions in a behavioral health setting.

The role emphasizes professional development, licensure maintenance, and adherence to Joint Commission and Oceans Healthcare standards, with 12-hour rotating shifts and opportunities for sponsorships for registered nurses.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state where employed.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume leadership for milieu management and direct patient care activities of nursing staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and educate patients on medications.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of patient symptoms, responses, and progress.
• Document care and update medical records in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Float among clinical services as needed and delegate duties appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations and Oceans Healthcare standards.
