Job summary

The Ranch at Dove Tree is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shifts in Lubbock, TX. The role focuses on nursing care within an acute behavioral health setting, coordinating patient care plans, and educating patients and families about treatment and medications.

Responsibilities include medication administration, data documentation, and timely communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and high-quality care on the unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• 1+ years nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• Experience with psychotropic medications and administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate patient care and care plans.
• Administer medications with two identifiers and document.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and hand off reports.
• Educate clients and families about medications and care.
