The RN at St. Joseph Hospital is an essential member of the Patient Care Team, delivering direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process across the unit.

You will delegate tasks as appropriate, supervise where needed, and help maintain a safe environment while educating patients and families and coordinating with other health professionals. Required are an active Maine RN license, BLS, and graduation from an approved nursing program.

Qualifications

• Inpatient behavioral unit nursing skills may be required.
• CPI training is preferred or to be obtained before orientation.
• Current Maine RN license is required to practice.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Graduate of an approved Nursing program is required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.
• Delegate interventions and supervise as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe environment for effective nursing care and education for patients and families.
• Collaborate with other health professionals in care planning and management.
