Job summary

TalentBridge is partnering with a growing behavioral healthcare organization in Loveland, CO to hire a Recovery Technician for its adult inpatient treatment team. This hands-on role focuses on patient safety, engagement, and support, with a three 12-hour shift schedule (Thu-Sat).

You will work with clinical staff, document observations, and help maintain a therapeutic, HIPAA-compliant environment that supports recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds while maintaining boundaries.
• Comfortable supporting adults in treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, wellbeing, and day-to-day needs of inpatients.
• Monitor patient activities and complete safety rounds.
• Build rapport with patients while maintaining boundaries.
• Engage patients with daily schedules, meals, activities, groups.
• Assist with admissions, orientations, transitions, and discharges.
• Encourage healthy coping skills and positive interactions through activities.
• Provide safe patient transportation as needed.
• Document observations and important patient information promptly.
• Collaborate with clinical, medical, and administrative teams.
• Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation when challenges arise.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized treatment environment.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
