Job summary

High Point Treatment Center Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for our inpatient campus in Brockton, MA. Full-time and part-time roles available on 12-hour day and night shifts.

Eligibility includes RN/LPN license, CPR, de-escalation training, and ability to lift 50 lbs. The program focuses on substance use and mental health treatment with comprehensive nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of Nursing.
• Must maintain current license status and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Certified Addiction Registered Nurse and/or Psychiatric RN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with 42 CFR Part 2 and Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations.
• Adherence to Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals for Behavioral Health.
• Adherence to DEA regulations and guidelines for controlled substances.
• Utilize critical thinking and best nursing practices to provide patient care and outcomes.
• Be familiar with ASAM criteria including detox protocols, MAT and/or pharmacology.
• Document patient information per alcohol/drug protocols and psychiatric/medical conditions.
• Educate patients about the disease process and maintain therapeutic boundaries.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and triage medication concerns for the attending practitioner.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings; cover shifts as needed.
• Perform shift tasks, audit unit supplies, and coordinate with nutrition staff for patient needs.
