Job summary

Atlantic MEDsearch seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to serve as a Hospitalist in an inpatient behavioral health center in Anchorage, Alaska. You will provide comprehensive medical care to patients 5 years and older and work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role features a 7 days on / 7 days off block with 10-hour shifts; initial medical evaluations within 24 hours of admission and close collaboration with psychiatry and therapy staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska NP/APRN license required or ability to obtain.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with board certification.
• Inpatient/acute care experience is preferred, behavioral health a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical care for patients ages 5+ in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Complete initial medical evaluations and H&Ps within 24 hours of admission.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and support staff.
