Job summary

Oceans Healthcare, in partnership with Norman Regional Health System, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care in our new behavioral health unit on the Porter campus in south central Oklahoma.

The role requires an active LPN license in Oklahoma, CPR certification, and the ability to work in a high-stress environment; one year of inpatient hospital experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN/LVN license in the state of employment (Oklahoma).
• CPR certification required; Oceans' de-escalation program is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to a defined patient group under RN supervision.
• Document findings accurately in patient records and communicate with the care team.
• Implement care plans and perform procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct bedside labs, wound care, and assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive communication and education.
• Support safe medication delivery and charting per facility policies.
