Job summary

Team Recovery LLC, located in Toledo, OH, seeks an Inpatient Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct care and support for clients in treatment for substance use and mental health disorders.

You will assist with therapy sessions, maintain safety, and support operational tasks within a collaborative treatment team. A valid CDCA license in Ohio and CPR certification are required, with a high school diploma or GED as the base education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• CDCA License in Ohio required.
• CPR certification required; training provided on hire.
• Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients during treatment activities and support medical/clinical services.
• Assist clients in navigating group and individual therapy sessions.
• Monitor and support clients during daily activities.
• Perform verbal de-escalation and connect clients to crisis intervention when needed.
• Co-facilitate psychoeducational sessions on mental health, recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to coordinate care and continuity of treatment.
• Assist in maintaining building cleanliness, inventory, and safety.
• Be flexible to schedule changes and additional duties as part of the treatment team.
