Job summary

Palestine Regional Medical Center in Palestine, TX, is seeking a Mental Health Worker to provide supportive inpatient care under RN supervision. You will assist with ADLs, maintain a safe therapeutic environment, monitor behavior, and document patient progress to support recovery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Background in psychology, social work, or related field desirable.
• Basic life support and crisis intervention familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient care.
• Monitor patient behavior and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment on the unit.
• Document patient progress and participate in crisis intervention.
