Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Colorado is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive perioperative care. You will evaluate patients preoperatively, plan anesthesia strategies, and manage intraoperative and PACU care within a collaborative surgical team.

The role emphasizes patient safety, high-value care, and active teaching of trainees, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
• Completed ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency or equivalent.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• ACLS from the American Heart Association required.
• PALS and/or ATLS may be required depending on practice setting or credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulate anesthesia plans.
• Manage intraoperative anesthesia with general, regional, local, or MAC techniques.
• Oversee post-anesthetic care in PACU and manage pain and complications.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Document all anesthetic care for patient records and billing; contribute to quality improvement.
• Educate and mentor medical students and residents as needed.
