Inpatient (Acute Hospital) Corporate Coder (Remote based in US) - $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Join Tenet Healthcare as an Inpatient (Acute Hospital) Corporate Coder working remotely across the US. We are seeking qualified professionals to support our hospital operations with accurate clinical coding.

Position Details

Compensation: $26.40 to $39.00 per hour, depending on experience and location. Includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and quarterly incentives based on productivity and quality. Holidays are paid at time and a half.

Responsibilities

1. Code and abstract patient health records accurately for Tenet facilities.
2. Review flagged cases for coding accuracy using CARDS and RevInt.
3. Participate in coding quality reviews and audits.
4. Attend coding education sessions and maintain professional credentials.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Health Information Management.
• 1-3 years inpatient coding experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and electronic medical records.
• Completion of at least one AHIMA-certified program (RHIA, RHIT, CCS preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Information Management.
• Over 3 years of inpatient coding experience, preferably in large health systems.
