Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide specialty and critical care services primarily in an inpatient setting with 24/7 coverage. The PA will conduct rounds, perform advanced assessments, and develop patient-centered treatment plans under physician supervision.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, current PA license, and PA-C or board eligibility. Ongoing recertification and credentialing are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• Current PA Physician Assistant License is required.
• PA-C or board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive inpatient physician assistant care for acute/critical patients under supervision.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic studies to inform treatment plans within PA scope.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EMR to support patient care and coding.
