Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of West Chester is an inpatient facility providing specialized behavioral health services. The team supports patients through art-, music-, and occupational-therapy–based modalities, with a focus on safety, engagement, and comprehensive documentation.

Required education includes degrees in therapy-related fields and licensure (MT-BC, ATR/ATR-BC/ATR-P, or COTA). Master’s preferred for clinical roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music therapy, art therapy, occupational therapy or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Must hold and maintain certification/licensure: MT-BC, ATR/ATR-BC/ATR-P, or COTA with license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ emotional, cognitive, and social needs and plan therapies.
• Lead and facilitate art-, music-, or occupational-therapy–based groups and sessions.
• Create a safe, engaging environment to promote participation.
• Evaluate progress and document services per policy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team on treatment plans.
• Maintain timely documentation of assessments and updates to treatment plans.
• Seek supervision or clinical support when challenges arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
