Coherent Corp seeks skilled InP engineers and technicians to join our Sherman, TX team. You will support design, fabrication and testing of InP-based devices, leveraging III‑V materials and cleanroom processes to drive quality and innovation.

Ideal candidates have hands-on InP experience, device testing skills, and a strong commitment to safety, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• Hands‑on with III‑V semiconductors, Indium Phosphide (InP).
• Familiarity with MOCVD, epitaxy, photolithography, etching, metallization.
• Experience with device testing/characterization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment for InP wafer processing and device fabrication.
• Perform process development, testing, and optimization for InP devices.
• Troubleshoot material, device, and process issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Document experiments and SOPs; maintain safety and compliance.
