Inova Health is actively seeking a physician to fill an OB/GYN position at the Inova Cares Clinic for Women Mount Vernon site located in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a full-time role with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

The Inova Cares Clinic for Women (ICCW) seeks a compassionate OB/GYN Physician to provide obstetric and gynecologic care for a culturally diverse population of uninsured and low-income individuals in Northern Virginia. In partnership with county health departments and community agencies, we serve the needs of underserved communities with prenatal and gynecologic care. Physicians in this role function as OB/GYN Generalists, providing:

• Full spectrum inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care
• Role as a “Safety Officer” for L&D to detect and prevent safety events

Responsibilities include caring for underserved populations, prenatal and gynecologic care, non-stress testing, LEEP, and colposcopy procedures. The schedule is full-time.

Qualifications:

• MD from an accredited institution; board eligible or certified in OB/GYN
• Completion of OB/GYN residency; 2+ years of post-residency experience preferred
• Current unrestricted Virginia medical license
• Level III NICU on-site with transfer access to Level IV NICU at Inova Children’s Hospital
• 24/7 in-house anesthesiology, 13 labor/delivery suites, 3 C-section suites
• Magnet hospital for nursing
