Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MFA required by August 10, 2027.
• 18 graduate credit hours completed in the teaching discipline.
• Experience researching performance practice and directing with focus on innovative reinterpretations.
• Evidence of ability to establish and/or maintain a vibrant research program (practice and/or publications).
• Experience teaching performance practice and directing and other lecture/seminar courses.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to academic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Research, teaching, and service to the University.
• Establish and maintain a vibrant research program inspiring undergraduates.
• Teach two courses per semester in performance practice and directing.
• Direct departmental productions and related course work.
• Contribute to teaching of musical/dance theatre or other performance technique classes.
