Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement in School Counseling.
• Experience teaching students with intellectual disabilities and physical impairments preferred.
• Ability to engage with paraprofessionals, families, and diverse learners using collaborative practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach students content to meet Virginia Standards of Learning using research-based practices.
• Function as Case Manager for students eligible for special education and related services.
• Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings and communicate with parents and staff.
