Job summary

Astranis, based in Northern California, invites students to join the Enterprise Systems team as a Software Engineer Intern for Fall 2026. The role focuses on building software and analytics tools to enable end-to-end engineering for satellite design, procurement, assembly, and testing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with Python.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering to design, build, and test software powering satellite design, testing, and manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain internal apps for test ops, scheduling, and production tracking across manufacturing.
• Support internal tools used by hardware design and supply chain teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Build automated workflows to reduce manual work across teams.
• Contribute to data warehouse, data ingestion pipelines, and BI tooling for analytics and AI workflows.
