Penn State University invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar in the Pediatric Oncology Translational Research Lab (POTRL) at the Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium, Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA. This on-site, term-position centers on preclinical and translational pediatric oncology research.

The successful candidate will design and execute experiments, generate publishable data, mentor trainees, and contribute to grant applications while advancing cancer

Qualifications

• PhD required with 8+ years of research experience.
• Experience with organoids and in vivo PDX cancer models.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute experiments with minimal supervision.
• Experience with grant applications is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments with minimal oversight.
• Formulate hypotheses and develop testable experimental plans.
• Maintain rigorous lab records and data integrity across projects.
• Communicate progress and roadblocks to PI and team.
• Lead preparation of first-author publications for high-impact journals.
• Present findings at conferences and contribute to abstracts/posters.
