Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a patent attorney to prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications. You will work directly with inventors, engineers, scientists, and business leaders to protect innovative technologies.

Responsibilities include drafting high-quality applications, responding to Office Actions, and conducting patentability analyses while maintaining strong client relationships. A Bar license in any U.S.

Qualifications

• Active Bar license in any U.S. state.
• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience.
• Technical background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
• Strong patent drafting and prosecution writing skills.
• Excellent technical comprehension and analytical ability.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional quality.

• Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
• Work directly with inventors, engineers, scientists, and business leaders to protect technologies.
• Analyze complex inventions in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics.
• Draft high-quality patent applications with clear, strategic claim coverage.
• Respond to Office Actions and develop prosecution strategies.
• Conduct patentability analyses and portfolio development.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and guidance.
