Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Accommodate differences in learning styles in lessons.
• Present subject matter according to TEA policies and school regulations.
• Use diverse instructional strategies and materials to reach all students.
• Assess student learning and adjust plans based on results.
• Collaborate with special education staff on IEPs as needed.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Utilize technology to enhance the teaching/learning process.
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff.
• Participate in staff development and adhere to policies.
