Job summary

Spring Education Group in Temecula, CA, is seeking a dedicated Middle School Science & STEM Teacher for Van Avery Prep. You will guide students through rigorous, hands-on learning, fostering scientific reasoning, curiosity, and collaboration in a structured classroom and laboratory environment.

You will plan standards-aligned instruction spanning life, physical, earth, and environmental sciences, integrate engineering design and technology, and differentiate support to meet diverse learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Science Education, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Education, or related field
• California teaching credential preferred
• Prior experience teaching middle school science or STEM courses preferred
• Strong knowledge of inquiry, lab practices, engineering design, project-based learning, and middle school instruction

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned science instruction for middle school students across life, physical, earth, and environmental sciences
• Create hands-on STEM experiences integrating inquiry, engineering, tech, math, and collaboration
• Lead laboratory investigations and demonstrations to develop observation, data analysis, and scientific communication
• Use inquiry-based instruction, design challenges, and project-based learning to connect concepts to real-world problems
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied academic needs and readiness levels
• Establish safe, inclusive classroom and lab routines and manage materials and equipment
