Job summary

RenewAire, based in Waunakee, WI, is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to own design tasks for new and existing products, using CAD and SolidWorks to drive value.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, NPD, and supply chain to develop parts, prepare assemblies and drawings, validate designs, and improve manufacturability and cost.

A BS in engineering or equivalent and 1–2 years of SolidWorks experience are required; sheet metal knowledge and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• 1-2 years design experience; SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience with heating, cooling, or HVAC equipment is a plus.
• Sheet metal design experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design parts and products using SolidWorks to meet project goals and ease of manufacturing.
• Prepare assemblies and drawings per drafting practices.
• Assist New Product Development for development projects.
• Investigate and resolve problems with parts fit and function or improve function or ease of assembly.
• Support design reviews and provide technical support to manufacturing and supply chain.
