Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years mechanical engineering experience with clients in Higher Ed, Pharmaceutical, Biopharma & Biotech, and other Science & Tech Industries is helpful.
• Previous consulting engineering firm experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit software.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Solid understanding of building and life safety codes.
• Relentless attention to detail and well-organized.
• Ability to communicate with clients, partners, vendors, and peers.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project-related travel when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Select and specify equipment for projects.
• Develop conceptual and detailed electrical designs, schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to develop construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project teams, and suppliers on other aspects of the project.
• Support design reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, project requirements, and safety expectations.
• Maintain clear records and communicate design decisions and project updates.
