Job summary

BASIS Ed Texas is seeking a qualified Math Teacher (SET) to join our Dallas Metro area team. The role focuses on delivering BASIS Curriculum with high-level mathematical instruction and engaging interactive lessons. A commitment to collaborative curriculum development and student excellence is essential.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in the subject area (or equivalent coursework), and IVP fingerprint clearance. Preferred are a Master’s degree and teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours with other degree).
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment.
• Design effective lessons and assessments to ensure students' education is internationally competitive.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum material.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and responsibility.
• Support non-instructional functions such as Early Bird, Late Bird, and lunch.
• Maintain regular, full attendance and supervise students.
