BASIS Ed Texas is seeking a qualified Math Teacher (SET) to join a bright, passionate team in the Dallas Metro area. The role focuses on delivering BASIS Curriculum with dynamic, subject-specific lessons and individualized student support.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in the subject area, have an IVP clearance, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. A master’s degree and teaching experience are preferred, with strong collaboration within a professional learning community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours with other degree).
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction at a level above grade standard in an interactive learning environment.
• Implement BASIS Curriculum with creative lessons and assessments to ensure international competitiveness.
• Collaborate with BASIS teachers to develop curriculum and material.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge to boost academic and career success.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement, responsibility, and respect.
• Support non-instructional duties such as Early Bird, Late Bird, and lunch.
• Maintain regular, full attendance.
• Supervise individual students or groups.
