Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Arizona teaching eligibility or ability to obtain certificiation.
• Strong understanding of upper-elementary curriculum and best practices.
• Ability to build trust, communicate with empathy, and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plans program of study that meets student needs.
• Creates conducive classroom environment for learning.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives.
• Assesses mastery and provides progress reports.
• Diagnoses learning disabilities with district support when needed.
• Counsels with colleagues, students, and/or parents.
