Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Massachusetts DESE license for the appropriate grade level.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technology.
• Strong pedagogy and subject matter understanding.
• Excellent and effective classroom management.
• Ability to collaborate with all faculty and staff.
• Must pass CORI and CHRI background checks.

Responsibilities

• Create a conducive learning environment aligned with curriculum goals.
• Prepare lessons for assigned classes.
• Encourage and model appropriate student behavior.
• Guide learning towards curriculum objectives and communicate them clearly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and examine student data.
• Use varied instructional techniques and media to meet student needs.
• Assess student progress and provide regular reports.
• Protect students, materials and facilities; maintain accurate records.
• Support admin policies and rules; establish classroom rules and procedures.
• Be available to students/parents outside instructional hours when needed.
• Strive to maintain and improve professional competence.
