Job summary

Uncommon Schools is seeking a High School Visual Arts teacher to implement the curriculum and drive student success in an urban public/charter school setting. You will design assessments, analyze data, and collaborate with grade-level teams to elevate instructional practices.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a proven teaching track record; two years in urban settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Two years of teaching experience in urban public/charter schools preferred.
• Valid State Certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards.
• Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards.
• Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
• Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
