Job summary

Isaac School District is seeking an elementary classroom teacher to foster a positive learning environment in line with state and district standards. The teacher will plan lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with families and staff to support each student’s growth.

The ideal candidate holds Arizona teaching certification with fingerprint clearance, demonstrates effective use of educational technology, and has strong communication skills and teamwork to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid AZ teaching certificate and fingerprint clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or higher from an accredited institution.
• Teaching experience or student teaching internship preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to use current technology in classroom.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff and community.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports the school and district's goals.
• Plan and deliver lessons based on district/state standards.
• Teach elementary students and implement curriculum.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans and assess student progress.
• Maintain accurate grade books and records.
• Communicate progress to families and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with grade level teams to plan instruction.
• Provide supervision and participate in professional development.
