Job summary

Steve Madden in New York City is seeking a Designer for Fashion Accessories & Belts to create mood boards, sketches, and design concepts for the wholesale accessories line. This on-site role supports the Betsey Johnson collection and collaborates with sales teams to present new products.

The candidate will produce tech packs, coordinate with overseas suppliers, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A fashion-forward eye and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Fashion.
• 3–5 years’ experience in belts or fashion accessories industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Deep understanding of trends, materials and construction in fashion.
