Job summary

Albany Medical College, within the Albany Med Health System, is actively recruiting a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join a multidisciplinary team at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital. The division provides diagnostic evaluations, medical management, and collaborative care with psychiatry, neurology, genetics, and psychology for patients up to age 21.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
• Interest in developing innovative programming within the scope of DB practice.
• Experience or interest in teaching house staff and medical students.
• Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient centered care across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic assessments and medical management of patients up to 21 years of age with broad developmental concerns.
• Partner with pediatrics, psychiatry, neurology and genetics to coordinate care.
• Contribute to innovative programming (e.g., ASD Medical Home, feeding team, fast-track screening).
• Teach residents and medical students as part of clinical service.
