Job summary
Northwest Mississippi Community College seeks a full-time 10-month instructor to lead the Civil Engineering Technology program on the Senatobia Campus to excellence by providing modern instruction, a professional environment, and a solid reputation in our communities for quality instruction and highly qualified and desired graduates for employment.
The successful candidate will have at least five years of civil engineering experience, plus an AAS in Civil Engineering Technology.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of civil engineering field experience.
- Experience in safety, CAD, GIS, surveying, and material testing.
- Associate of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Civil Engineering Technology program on the Senatobia Campus.
- Provide modern instruction and professional environment for students.
- Develop curricula and update course materials to reflect current industry standards.
- Oversee laboratory activities and ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain attendance records and assist with student advisement and placement.
- Engage with industry partners to support internships and employment opportunities.
