• PhD in Music Education is required (ABD will be considered with degree conferral in hand by August 15, 2027)
• At least three years of full-time teaching experience in the secondary (middle/high school) choral classroom
• Demonstrated achievement in scholarly/creative activities, with a defined record of successful research productivity

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate- and graduate-level choral methods and music education courses
• Actively recruit for the undergraduate and graduate choral music education degree programs
• Advise students and direct student research
• Service on department and college-level committees
• Maintain an active scholarly profile
